When I first started researching gutter cleaner ideas, I found several leaf blower accessory kits. However, I didn’t even consider a Shop Vac gutter cleaning attachment.

Note: All that said, this set up does come with a downside. The kit only includes 2 extension pieces (compared to 5 on other packages).
Therefore, the tube does not extend as long, and you have to maneuver the accessory with the flexible part of the hose. (Or hold the tube higher up.)
Depending on the height of your roof, this task may prove to be challenging. A possible solution may be the hose grip handle attachment, which gives you a handle to hold on to.

Advantages of Using a Shop Vac:
Besides blowing your gutters and cleaning your yard, wet/dry vacuums have numerous uses. In fact, most people use them more as a vacuum than a blower.
For example, you can clean your car, garage, fireplace or barbecue grill. In addition, I use mine to suck up cobwebs under the eves and sawdust from my workbench.
In other words, you can get a lot of use from a heavy duty outdoor vacuum, making a great value for the money. Ann on the fact that you can now use it to safely and efficiently clean your gutters – what more do you need, right?
